Wanaka am Wanaka See ist bei Sonnenschein sicher ein schöner Ort zum Verweilen, ich hab mich nach kurzer Visite entschieden gleich weiterzufahren.

Wanaka at Wanaka Lake for sure a good place to stay at sunny days, but I decided after a short look to proceed driving.

Queenstown ist eine sehr geschäftige Stadt, ich hab sogar Stau gehabt. Am Wochenende ist Marathon, daher was es wohl besonders voll. Ansonsten kann man hier jede Menge Adventuretours buchen. Ansonsten eine Stadt inmitten von mittelhohen Bergen mit Nadelbäumen mit einem See. Das Parkhaus hat mich allerdings vor eine Herausforderung gestellt, da ich den Ausgang einfach nicht gefunden habe. Mich hat allerdings sehr beruhigt, dass ich einen Einheimischen getroffen habe, der das letzte Mal vor 3 Monaten (weil es das teuerste Parkhaus ist) hier war und auch gesucht hat. Gemeinsam ist es uns dann gelungen herauszufinden. Irgendwie ist es auch unlogisch, dass man in einen Tiefgarage einfährt und der Ausgang dann noch tiefer ist und ein Teil der Ausgänge einen nur im Treppenhaus umherirren läßt, bis man feststellt man kommt nur aus den Ausgängen in der Mitte wirklich raus.

Queenstown is a busy town, I had even traffic jam. On the weekend the marathon takes place here, therefore it was a bit more crowded I assume. You can book a lot of adventure tours here. It is a town surrounded by middle high hills with confers at a lake. My challenge was to get out of the parking garage, I really had problems to find the exit. But there was a local who struggled as well he said he was here 3 month ago and can not remember where the exit was. Finally we got out. It is a bit weired that you are driving down 3 levels in a parking garage that the exit is than even 2 levels down and you can only exit from the middle of the garage.

Ich hab dann noch ein Regencape gekauft, um besser für Regen gerüstet zu sein, allerdings kann man für 2 $ wohl nicht allzuviel erwarten. Auf dem Weg nach Manapouri noch eine Weide für Rehe.

I bought a raincape, to be better prepared in case of rain. I costed 2 $ therefore my expectations are pretty low. On the way to Manapouri a meadow with deer.

Am Ende möchte ich Euch den Blick auf den Manapouri See nicht vorenthalten, ca. 1 Minute von meiner Unterkunft (ein Häuschen für mich auf dem Campingplatz siehe Photo) entfernt.
